Puzzles
These are the kinds of activities that people think of when they hear about mental exercises. They can certainly be valuable, but I should warn you that learning to solve puzzles is more valuable than actually solving the puzzle. Try to figure out how to solve these puzzles without any help so that you don't ruin the experience for yourself.
